Product Description
The first orally-bioactive Superoxide Dismutase… A new class of antioxidant revolutionising the way we address disease management and preventive health care.
GliSODin is high in the enzyme Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), the body’s first line of antioxidant defence. A patented process enables SOD to remain bioactive as it passes through the digestive tract.
Glisodin boosts the body’s first line of defence against harmful free radicals. Derived from a specially bred high antioxidant strain of Cucumis melo, Glisodin stimulates the body’s innate antioxidant defences which are activated in response to oxidative stress.
Excessive free radicals are a major factor in ageing, inflammation and illness. Clinical trials show that Glisodin boosts circulating levels of antioxidant defences and helps reduce oxidative damage, thereby promoting health and wellbeing. In particular, Glisodin helps protect blood vessels from oxidative damage, adding to the benefits of a healthy diet in maintaining your cardiovascular system.
Why SOD? Chronic inflammation is a major stress during ageing and illness. Boosting antioxidant defences can promote wellbeing and assist our self-healing by offsetting the harmful effects of oxidative stress.
Protective effect of Antioxidant Enzymes against other forms of Antioxidant compounds, either synthesis or ingested
The superiority of primary antioxidants
A Primary Antioxidant Enzyme recycles itself again and again, quenching many thousands of free radicals. By contrast, Secondary Antioxidants such as those consume in foods and supplements quench only ONE free radical for each antioxidant. In this way, Secondary Antioxidant reserves can quickly become saturated and Oxidative Stress uncontrolled.
Clinical Data shows that Glisodin may:
– Reduce cellular oxidative damage
– Support cellular antioxidant defences
– Help maintain healthy blood vessels and cardiovascular health
