Product Description
A diverse microbial population is considered an important biomarker of digestive health.
Feeding the microbiota a variety of their preferred plant fibres produces short-chain fatty acids (SCFA) which in turn provide the colonic epithelium its preferred energy source; this is a key factor in determining the commensal relationship between the microbiota and the cells of its host.
FloraGenex provides a foundation of a diverse range of five soluble fibres, that are gentle, to promote microbial diversity, and support tight junction homeostasis, thus setting the stage for optimal digestive and overall health.
This is the reason that FloraGenex is the core pre-biotic in the G.E.M.M. Protocol.
